Sweetheart Liam :)
I hadn't seen my little rugrat Liam for awhile so I went over to my Aunt Julie's to snap a few. I'm so grateful that he is the least bothersome child in the world. So jaded and you'll rarely hear a cry from him. Here's just a few shots of him doing his baby thing. Love him so much!

Vanessa and Tien's Engagement.
So I was working one day at the mall and ran into my newly met friend Vanessa and her fiance Tien at the mall. She mentioned she was getting married soon and had been wondering if I could help shoot her Vietnamese engagement party. I was hesitant at first since I wouldn't really know anyone there, but figured since I had the time, why not help a friend out, and honestly I didn't think I would get much out of this but surprisingly enough I had a great time and it made for quite a interesting photography experience. Also met with another photographer there who was even willing to help me with my stuff. Looking back I wish I had been more prepared though, such as wear more comfortable shoes, and bring a flash filter. Lesson of that day: Never turn down an opportunity because you'll never know the value of what you're actually getting :)
Thanksgiving Day, a view from below.
Thanksgiving is not usually one of my favorite times of the year, particularly because it consists of the family sitting down and hearing the elders lecture you on life lessons and potential husbands from distant relatives whom we should meet. But this year was different. Two new little Hmonkeys Liam and Dawson joined us for the first time, diverting the usual conversations to funny things the boys did earlier that week etc. This is just around the time when they just started to crawl so they made for really good targets. This is one thing I love about photographing kids/infants. They have no concern on how groomed they look before you snap, they don't cover their faces in sheer horror that a camera is pointed at them and they continue to do their baby thing yet still stare at the camera just when you need them to. I think another reason why I love shooting kids is that, when I was a baby I literally had a total of 2 baby pictures since my parents couldn't afford a camera when I was born :( Hopefully these guys will appreciate this when they're older :)
